Just like to comment on how exciting the british boxing scene is at the moment, im glad Haye lost, his constant slander towards Klitchko was embarassing and just ended up showing him up on the night, but with up and coming boxers such as David price, Vassel and Billy joe saunders and allready established champs like Froch and Brook i think we have a really good chance of having at least a couple of unified champs within the next few years.
Hopefully Froch wont make me eat my words next week!!

    Exciting times ahead

Although not sure how many of the ones you mentioned will make the grade.

I think I'm the only person who thinks that David Haye didn't let himself down as Klitschko. Yes he was soundly beaten, but I don't think Wladamir battered him at all, and Haye just suffered from a lack of work ethic and risk.

Reserve judgement on Kell Brook for when he stops fighting tomato cans - quality of opposition have been very poor so far (he isn't an established champion yet, not in the same way Froch is).

Amir Kahn will be back. Saturday was a joke of a performance from everyone other than Peterson, who was immense (but limited)

I dont think he was awful against klitschko, but i definitely believe he let himself down pre-fight with some of the bordering on ridiculous comments he came out with. I agree on brook but watching him and seeing his skills i think he's certainly one to watch, the thing that is so impressive which really makes a good boxer is his defence, he very rarely takes hits, and is quite often out of range of his opponents, this coupled with good punching power i think is a deadly combination, if his fights are picked correctly he will be a solid world champ but is way off being ready for pacquiao. Billy joe has immense boxing skills, and although he hasnt fought anyone of note as of yet he has shown his huge potential in the fights he's had. As for Vassell it was the way he swept aside Bethuel Uushona for the commonwealth belt that caught my attention if he can beat Lynes and win a Londsdale belt outright i think he'll be on course for a world title shot.
Mind you i thought Tom Dallas looked promising until he fought David Price

Nathan Cleverly too. Didn't see the Bellew fight but listened to it on radio. Sounded like a contender for fight of the year and Cleverly will have learnt a lot from it

He definitely learnt a lot from it

The main thing being that he should avoid the likes of Hopkins and Dawson as he isn't ready!

I did too, early on, but he struggled in the fight before Price and was a bit daft to take the Price fight on with little preparation. I hope Price is brought on sensibly, because he has some punch on him. having said that, despite Channel 5 getting themselves in a lather over the Fury-Chisora fight, I thought they were both awful and Price would have beaten either that night.

Billy Joe Saunders is excellent, but his hand trouble is going to hold him back.

I also like Brook, but to get much higher in his division there's a massive step up in class. I think he'll go further though. And closer to home Jamie McDonnell is very underrated, as is Ricky Burns.

All we need on the UK scene is a bit of retraining for a few of the referee/judges.

And, whilst ultimately disappointed with the performance, Haye caused Klitschko far more trouble than anyone else he's boxed for a long time. I spent the entire fight waiting for him to take the gamble that he never took. I don't think he'll make the same mistake with Vitali, so one of them will be getting knocked out.

Neither of the Klitschko brothers have had a decent opponent barring Haye recently. Mostly past it - pay day hunters, which is dissapointing as there are some good fights out there to be had, i cannot see either of them fighting Povetkin but i would love it as i believe he'd take either apart.
Hopefullly saunders is over the trouble with his hand after the time off he had.
i dont rate Fury at all, if THE Derek Chisora would have turned up that night for me it was his fight to lose, against a decent operator Fury will be finished off early and not allowed to recover from a knockdown like last time out.
