Fantastic matchup. Whyte will be AJ's first real test. Looking forward to that. Nov/Dec according to Hearn.

And of course, Tyson Fury beating Wlad for the heavyweight belts in October.

    Let's get ready to rumble.

Bet tha watches it though. The build up is going to be better than the fight. I just hope it happens.

As for AJ and Whyte, I think it'll be harder for AJ than you imagine. Didn't Whyte beat him or summat a few years back? Sure I've read that somewhere. Amateurs or summat?

Depends what time it's on, I'll not stay up til silly o'clock for it, just as I never stay up for Mayweather fights as I know they'll be boring.

AJ lost his first amateur fight to him, this is a totally different AJ now though, he'll smash him up.

We'll see. I expect him to win, but not in the manner he's grown used to.

It's in Germany, it shouldn't be on at silly o clock.

And I haven't watched a Mayweather fight in years.

Aye, forgot he fights in Germany, I'll watch it then

It might be a tougher test for AJ, he might take it to the 4th round.

Joshua will be far to powerful and quick for Whyte and I can't see it going 5 rounds.... The mans an animal and clear favourite even though he lost to him in amateurs the experience and coaching he's had during and after the Olympics put him far ahead of Whyte since the amateur days.

Aye, I expect him to win, just expect his first real test. Which means being punched, lasting a few rounds.

It does indeed, thought I'd read September earlier. My eyes must be painted on.

Dillian Whyte has landed the big pay day he was looking for. The fact he beat Joshua in the amateurs is a massive selling point, but the reality is they're worlds apart skill wise now. Can't be certain on this but I think AJ avenged the defeat, meaning this can be pitched as a 'rubber'.

Far more exciting than the Johnson fight though and worth watching, it isn't like he's fighting Joseph Parker. Now that's a fight between two undefeated up and comers!

British Title on the line as well.

Whyte will be fighting on the Campbell undercard in August as well (which is quite ironic considering they ruled him out of fighting AJ in September due to an injured wrist. Smoke and mirrors from Mr.Hearn).

    Should be entertaining this.

Whyte hits hard but he's fairly limited. The amateur fight was a fight between two complete novices to boxing & means nothing.

Joshua bounced back from losing to the best amateur in the world to beat him at the Olympics 12 months later so I don't think there'll be any mental issues over the loss to Whyte.

I'd back Joshua to stop him inside 4 rounds, not because Whyte's **** but because Whyte will be the first Joshua opponent who'll actually try & win rather than survive & he'll get caught.

The build up should be fun, get the feeling the real side of Joshua will come out when Whyte's in his face rather than the media trained Joshua we've seen so far

Credit to Whyte and anyone who accepts a fight with Joshua. The guy will be heavyweight champion as soon as he feels ready to take the belts.

I wouldn't go that far, no way is he ready for Wlad or Povetkin yet.

Offensively he looks the business but we're yet to see him fight anyone in the top 40, yet to see him take a shot, he's only fought one fighter of a similar height & his stamina's not been tested.

    Hopefully he's the full package
