    Forget the shambles at Oakwell this afternoon, a good british fight tonight, whats everyones predictions? Im going for hatton on points, i like Kell Brook but i think the experience will see hatton through. also Macklin hasnt a chance later in New York, Martinez much too strong and over by the 4th round for me.

    And he was coming up in weight for that fight.

    Hatton isn't a great fighter, but he is solid, and the best fighter that Brook has ever faced by a long way.

    Good test, but I fancy Hatton on points as a cheeky outside bet. No way on earth Kell Brook should be 9/1 odds on for this fight.

    Macklin will put up a good fight again Martinez, but ultimately come unstuck in the last two/three rounds, just like Darren Barker did. Don't forget Macklin beat Felix Sturm in his last fight, so isn't as much of a push over as you're suggesting.

    I know Macklin is a good fighter but i just see it being a quickish stoppage unfortunately, hope im wrong and he wins though.

    Just caught the end and highlights, looked a good one. I have just read that the Macklin fight is 1st up in NY. Can't believe it myself, anyone know?

    I think Hatton will give Brook a hard time, but I like Brook and think he could go a long way. No way is it going to be an easy win, but I go with Brook on points.
