As bright a button as I have seen lately, crashing around merrily in his lampshade collar, knocking plants, ornaments, barking at the postman and delivery drivers, sorting out his brother (as he has done all his life), staring at me with his one eye, laughing, following me all over especially into the kitchen for goodies and milk. If only we humans could do this, we'd be miracles. However, I spoke this morning to a lady on the phone who is a spiritual healer, apparently very good with animals. I talked to her for the first time about three days ago when I was at my wits end BEFORE he had his operation. Today she rang me. She wanted to know today how things were going on. Now I am not of any religious persuasion, nor do I believe, or not believe, in things "beyond", but what she said today made me puzzle..... She said that after our first phone call three days ago she asked for some absent healing but was told (by whoever or whatever) that the eye was too far gone and it would need to come out. Her words were, "it shouldn't be there". She also saw in her minds eye a red, swollen, bloody red eye, looking a real sad mess, which is exactly how it was. I had not told her this. She said to me that she already knew what I was going to tell her today about the operation, she had been told as much ! Have you any experience of this sort of thing cos it makes me shudder to even try to imagine what is going on.
when I was in the RAF........ I was returning home after attending a trade course.I was travelling to RAF Kinloss in Scotland( I was stationed there at the time) I was well North of Perth on the A9 and it was getting quite dark. In the distance a I saw a youngish woman by the roadside hitch hiking , so I stopped to pick her up, " I am going up to Inverness" I said , "that's great for me" she replied and jumped in. The radio was on so there was no conversation really. We got well up into the highlands when she suddenly turned to me "can I ask a question " she said... I then noticed just how stunningly beautiful she was.... " errm... errm yes ... of course " I sorta stammered. "Do you believe in the supernatural, the occult...WitchCraft ?" " well I do not really know " I replied She then stroked my thigh .... and I Turned into a layby B'dum Tish
From your initial conversation when you described the state of the eye it would be reasonable for her to conclude that it would have to be removed.
