Just a quick update on t'old lad. He has been on steroid tablets for a few days to help sort his brain blood flow and it seems to be working.... touch wood. He is still quite wobbly but has regained a lot of his appetite..... and bravado.... and this morning did his first poo since Tuesday. He follows me round everywhere again and gets in the way as per normal with the old Brad cheeky look in his (one) eye. When his tablets end tomorrow we'll see what happens afterwards. I hope he'll be back to normal but when this sort of thing happens it is impossible to predict the future for him, but at least at the moment it is looking quite positive, but I do not want to speak too soon.
Good to hear Mr Badger My number one son 'Fergus' had a seizure(epileptic fit) last October we were mortified... the vets put him on a medicant... but 2 weeks later he had a second 'turn'.... so they upped the dose a little... all seemed well... they had him in for blood tests to see his enzyme levels were good a month later... all was well... so then another month later... all was good... then 3 months later and all was good... now they are happy and say to give him a test in 6 months and if it all seems good then maybe just annually... Mr Badger when we saw our lad 'fit' the first time we were mortified... the second time we were destroyed... we feared the worst... but we stood by the lad and soldiered on and now we have him back... Give Brad that same support fella, he deserves it and you deserve the chance to help a best friend... good luck to you and all the Badgers, Me and Mrs Dragon are with you all in our hearts and prayers.
Yes, he had a stroke last Tuesday. Fingers crossed he seems to have come through the worst and is recovering, but he was a very poorly little boy for a few days. Have a look at the thread I started on Tuesday or thereabouts if you want.
Oh mate, I'm so sorry to hear of Brad's health issues. I've just been reading last week's thread. One thing's for sure, he's a blooming fighter and he'll certainly not be lacking for any love and affection. Keep fighting the fight, Brad.
