He's one of the potential management candidates here in Bradford, after todays diabolical performance against Huddersfield rumour has it we might be appointing him next week.

We are absalutely awful at the moment, the squad is pants and is cobbled together with loan players and players who dont seem to give a damn. Any chance of him saving us from relegation, having a big clear out in the summer and getting us challenging for promotion the next?

Yes were dire but were only a point from safety, could he get a crap team playing football? Does he tolerate slacking and players who don't put in enough effort? Will he play favourite players regardless of whether they are playing well or not?

The football will be entertaining if nerve wracking.

Would do more than a job for you

Ritchie's teams are greater than the sum of the parts - he excels in getting the most out of people and getting them to play for each other as a team.

Plays good exciting attacking football, a bit too gung-ho at times.

Downside is yes, he does have his favourites (prepare yourselves for Marc Richards) and his loyalty to his promotion team arguably cost him his job at Oakwell.

Overall I'd say yes, it would be a good appointment and I think (and hope) he'll do well for you.

Don't know if he can save you but if not I'd certainly back him to get you back up quickly.

He will have you playing passing and exciting football. He will be well liked by the fans and players which will show in their attitude. He would be an excellent appointment for you guys. Plus he will take a couple of fringe players from us no doubt.

plays very exciting football, 4-4-2 with fast wingers.

very loyal to his players which engenders a great team spirit, however this was also arguably his weak point - he allegedly had the opportunity to buy some very good players pre season but decided to stick with an 11 that were a little fortunate to get into the championship.

good luck to the guy and your team, you deserve some good times after the crap you have had to put up with in recent years (very similar to our plight).

Ritchie and Holden get players playing for them by being really likeable blokes. Holden in particular is a real comedian and morale at BFC hit all time highs with them two in charge. They did an excellent job for us in the 18 months they were in charge and will always be remembered for the promotion and the style of football. Only thing that went wrong was his loyalty to a small squad that lacked the quality for the Championship. Expect some happy days at Bradford. And good luck to Andy Ritchie (and no doubt Rick Holden as they come as a double act), would love to see him be successful in his next job.
