Nice touch by BT Sport to make it free to air to everyone who can get the channel. BBC you can't blame for picking Man United and Arsenal as their first choice. But BT Sport being kind enough to let it be shown for free makes up for the beeb wanting to put on Aston Villa again.

I was just about to post that I'd noticed it was Free to View, not sure though how the choices went....I suspect BBC had first pick, hence Man Utd v Arsenal, and then BT Sport had the 2nd pick.

Yeah the first two picks of BBC for Man Utd and BT Sport for Liverpool made sense. But then BBC screwed up for the second round running with Bradford as they chose to have Villa on for the second round in a row. Nice bit of goodwill publicity for BT.

four billion quid a year the BBC gets, you'd think, given that they are so desperate to show an all Premier League tie, that they could just buy some rights to show actual Premier League football.
