Any good? And do they do it when there's a Barnsley match on? Thinking of going before the Colchester game, planning to go for about 5:30 to give plenty of time before the pre-game rush picks up.
cheap and cheerful... But you get what you pay for mate.
If you have a fine palate then leave it well alone.

Pre-Game rush? A cold Tuesday night versus Colchester...? I think not. However, I have heard the steaks are pretty nice. If you want a steak though, go to the the Rythre arms at Tadcaster. Immense.
It's OK, no better than that really Usually loads of salad on the plate, but not much in the way of steak and chips - so not particularly "filling" last time I went. For £6, you also get a pint of beer, so decent value overall.
Not even real Beef! Feckin Zebu, I mean they cant even put a bit of british beef on the plate, got to give you a bit of humpback cow. /poo
you are so wrong about that mate I do know a lot about meat too. worked in the meat trade for 24 years and then qualified as a chef. the Brammhah has no chefs only microwave pilots and griddle operators. Food is average to say the least.
RE: you are so wrong about that mate think average is been kind mate, asked for a steak meduim rare came cremated! Tough as old boots.
well I dont like to be too brutal about the place. They do have good Beer to wash it down with. When you are served, that is.
Sorry if I caused offence madmark, wasn't questioning your knowledge. Was only stating what I thought about meat really, which is practically that it's edible.
