Has anyone been? If so how expensive are the drinks there because I'm getting conflicting information and is there a bad attitude towards English tourists? Thanks
It was shown on a programme called 'Boozed Up Brits Abroad' which was on Bravo. Basically a different Eastern Bloc country was shown every week and stag parties that went there. Pretty much the same everywhere, the more drunk you are the bigger the chance is that you'll get ripped off. Keep checking Bravo may show a repeat
Not been but heard it's very nice It's the only capital city to border 3 countries or something like that. Pictures of the place look very nice....I'd get the impression that it's not 'cheap' and a little more exclusive than some of the Eastern cities.
been there a couple of times{work} it is still cheap and the best bar to go its in the centre and its called the dubliner, its an irish pub and mostly its run by irish and english guys.if you want a good meal there is a restuarant called the red lobster which is great. hotels can be expensive and nothing special but the women are!!!!!

That's one pub I have heard of that's supposed to be good for watching football What sort of price are we looking at for beers??
Really nice city. Similar to many Eastern Euro places like it but not in the fully clutches of commercialism just yet – so i thought. Plenty to do in a short weekend but buy a book or at least have a plan. You'll end up wandering aimlessly otherwise and it's the kind of place you'd be very lucky to stumble across places over and over again. Many of the best joints are hidden even though it’s a small city you can miss them. We paid on average just over a quid a pint of top draw beer from memory. Of course, as stated the more hammered you the more you stand a chance of being ripped but the locals were generally freindly to us. Plus the more commercial places you visit the more chanced the prices will be closer to Uk prices, as anywhere i guess. O
Try PissUp.com they cater for all the stag and hen parties to the eastern bloc countries. they may have info about bars on there
