    don't really get the point of this type of loan deal personally. then again i lost all faith in loans after the january farce. fingers crossed i'm proved wrong

    I dnt think it's the type of loan we gave been making. It's possibly to assess him in our team and see what impact he can make prior to making it permanent. To see if it's a good fit for both of us and to see how his off field difficulties end up.

    From the brief highlights I've seen of Davis, he seems more an holding/breaking up play midfielder. Will allow the likes of Bailey and Hourihane to get on the ball and spray it around.

    Has this actually been confirmed anywhere? The last update on Sky Sports was at 7pm just repeating the quote from Jackett that we were leading the pack for him.

    Based on the fact I think we'll play 4-5-1 at times next season, I think we'd need 1 more on top of those 4. Preferably someone more attacking.
