    That's why I was surprised. He's made over 30 appearances for his National side.. hows he managed that I'll never know. It's not as though USA has a bad bunch of players nowadays either.

    Ive never seen a player at any level who I've wondered more how he's become a professional. He just had absolutely nothing going for him in terms of either football or athletic ability.

    Think there is a reason behind that. I was in Florida a few weeks ago. Orlando City have the faces of their fans on the shirt numbers, limited edition job. Reckon they'd sell more shirt printing because of it. He was one of only 2 US players in their starting line up last week which I reckon would make him more popular.

    Spoke to one guy about him whilst I was there (English guy living in Orlando) who described him as a 'strange one'.

    I think he was a half-decent player, the whole team went from bad to worse and he was one of those singled-out for that decline which, looking back, was a bit unfair as they were all terrible.
