Claimed there are 3 types of fans at every club with regards to a managerial appointment 1) love their club whoever is in charge 2) accept a new manager but to really respect him he has to be successful 3) criticise everything about the new manager - if you win 3-0 they will moan if it's not 4-0 Which one are you?
I can't see why someone couldn't be both 1 and 2... you don't have to like the manager to still love the club. I suppose I'm type 1 of a fan - no manager or player can ever stop me loving the club itself, and I'll always support the manager too as long as they respect the club and its fans.
If I'm been honest I probably fall in to category 2 and for me success would be classed as consolidating our position un the championship without looking over our shoulder all the time
depends who the manager is :- if it's Brendan Rogers............. give him a fair crack of the whip but you can bet your bottom dollar he won't constantly slag the fans off at Liverpool like keefy does here. Hope this helps
Probably 1, I'm always positive about the manager. Thought until the last few weeks of Davey's tenure that he was a decent manager. Looking back now I realise I'm an idiot.
1, I'll always love BFC, my club that I'll always support etc. etc. But a bit of a mixture of 2, I'll welcome a new manager with open arms, but success is obviously important.
Partly no2, but doesn't have to be 'successful' I want my manager to send his team out always believing that they are capable of beating the opposition whoever they are. Then I can fully accept that if results go against us like they did in the second half of last season, it is truly down to a lack of quality and not poor tactics and a lack of belief.
Re: Partly no2, but doesn't have to be 'successful' not really sure i dont care who the manager is what he says about fans players etc.. if he is doing well regarding the circumstances (keith hill) i will back them (pitty the board arnt/carnt) and obviously id love the club regardless also i do like a good moan if a believe a player isnt giving 100% ever game no matter how well his season is going so i suppose im a one of a kind im all 3
Re: Partly no2, but doesn't have to be 'successful' and what abot the type of manager who pledges himself 100% to a club and then fecks off when a better????? club comes looking for a manager. Rodgers has made a mistake going to Liverpool.
