    From what I've heard from my Lincoln buddies, he's definitely not for sale. Forest have big plans for him next year. Can't see this one being true.

    Would be a brilliant signing in my opinion. Can play as attacking midfielder, or as a wide striker. Really impressed last season in his loan spell with Lincoln City, but I would be surprised if Forest would be prepared to let him go on a permanent for anything less than £1-2 million. I would have him in a heart-beat. Great potential and a great future if he is brought on carefully.

    Clubs like Forest would rather splurge on overpriced players than develop thier own.

    Thats how we've benefited with Mowatt, Morris J.Williams etc.

    I remember similar comments about Luke Thomas when he had a good loan spell with Coventry in division 1 , we then splodged £1.2 million on him from Derby who were laughing all the way to the bank , not saying this lad would be the same but we have to be careful with that amount of outlay .

    Good point. Must of the young potential we have spent on have been our biggest failings. Thomas/Wilks/Schmidt must have lost quite a lot on those deals.

    Probably the daftest transfer rumour we'll hear all summer.

    If Forest do sell him, it'll be for a lot of money to either a PL team, or a parachute team.

    The difference I think with Thomas is, Derby were looking to offload. He had a decent season at Coventry, but not a fantastic one. Brennan Johnson was regarded as one of the best players in league 1 last year, and is only 18. Forest will be looking to integrate him into the first team this year, or selling him to the highest bidder.
