saw him in Joseph Bramahs at dinnertime, being a right cocky ******!! A young lad, bout 9ish asked for his autograph, n he waved him away!!! ******!!
lol probably thinking moving to sheff utd was a bad career move about now. I always said he thought he was better than he actually is. He was a big fish at barnsley but proper been found out at bumhole lane. If they do go up he will be on his bike faster than lance armstrong.
RE: yeah bad move being 2nd instead of 5th bottom, ffs nt He's not playing now, what chance does he have if Sheff U do get promoted? 'FFS'</p> </p>
he goes and betters himself, and some of you won't let it go if the blunts go up and he moves on, do you think he will be going to a club in our position, and to a club with as ***** a manager
RE: he goes and betters himself, and some of you won't let it go Whatever you think about Davey, he got Howard playing the best football of his career.</p> Same goes for Foster, Hassell, JCR </p>
i wasnt even that sad to see him go tbh he was having a negative effect on the team. All we need is to pick up a craig hignett type bargain like we did when Hendire was manager. What a signing that was. Someone like that would fill the gap left by howard very nicely. Easier said than done like.
RE: he goes and betters himself, and some of you won't let it go Can't see how he has bettered his playing career sat on the bench. If he does leave the pigs at the end of season he won't attract any better clubs than when he left us. So basically going to Sheff utf as done him no favours at all
Been watching 30 years ....not happened that often Hignett was a brilliant signing ... gutted when he left. One of the most skillful players we've ever had
This negative effect, when is it going to lift? With Brian Howard in the side we always had a player that could get a goal, without him we have looked very much impotent . He has left , get over it.
