I thought it was just Jimmy that went to Holgate. I only recall seeing Jimmy's name on the board in the hall that had the names of everyone with International honours. I think Jimmy was only noted as playing for England U-21s. I am thinking back nearly 30 years though, so I could be wrong!

You are right that it was only one of them, but I was pretty sure that it was Brian, not Jimmy whose name was on the board! Got me thinking now....

So, we must have been there the same time as me. I was in Locke Sadler 1979-84. What about you?

It was Jimmy who was at Holgate I had a schoolbook that he'd been the previous custodian of. Brian was the cousin of a class mate of mine. I'm guessing he'd be about 59 or 60.

    What sad news.
I was in the same class as his brother for a few years at Holgate. Just looked him up on Wiki to see what happenned to him - it's so sad they fell out and ended up not talking. Hope they made it up before Brian died.
