That's because he's injured. And anyeway, who needs him when we've got three blokes who all look the same, play the same and stand within 2 feet of each other for 90 minutes.

    Looked OK in Asda earlier...

So must not be a major injury.

Yes I would have him back if he played like he did last season........but he's hiding........

..........the Blunt fans dont want him............he's been a massive failure at that club and he knows it
He came on to a chorus of "booooo, fook off back to Barnsley" when he came on against Hull - I love it :D :D :D

    Bitter..............yep, thats me

We have had nothing but sihte from Brian Howard this season.............e.g. refusing to put 100% into his play, upsetting the dressing room, holding the club to ransom, insisting that he moves to one of our rivals, not having a kind word to say about Barnsley since he left etc etc etc
And all because Howard wanted to jump on the McCabe gravey train

And why not be bitter ??? Because if Howard were playing yesterday he may have been the difference in getting us the breakthrough we needed
So at the end of the season lets just hope that the 2 points dropped playing the bottom of the league club does not get us relegated and thus cost Patrick Cryne ££££millions.............yes, I'm bitter how things have worked out with Brian Howard.............and I would imagine Pat Cryne and Simon Davey are even more bitter

    Then perhaps, just perhaps...

someone at the club should have sat down with BH in the summer and got it all sorted out. Instead people make their mouth about him being worth £10 million and then there is no talk of securing his long term future.

We are the losers due to intransigence on both sides. A football man would have sorted BH in the summer or at least realised he was lost and had him put up for sale much earlier.

    But To Be Fair Nudge.........

the players Howard left behind aren't exactly doing the business on the pitch, so maybe it wasn't just him not playing so well earlier this season....But he's gone to our local rivals and others are still with us so immune from being had a go at.

We do miss him. His all-round play and not just his goals.

Serious mis-management by the club. IMHO. £10m rated but no contract discussions! FFS.

Not until after Sheff utd wanted him.

When he asked for a new contract last season, after it was said he was worth £10 million, he was never contacted about a new contract.

I know that he still had a year left on his old one, but os did Simon Davey when he got a new one and JCR.
