I think you're missing something here. My reference was aimed at fans who are critical of players per se .Not whether the player has offended anyone. If the player had caused
offence,whether intentionally or not, the fan involved should communicate with that player through proper channels and request an explanation. then if explanations are not
forthcomming then openly critisize,if you have to. At least efforts will have been made to be adult and mature about it.
