Well yesterday was alright. But aside from everything that's already been said just thought I'd share that Brian Howard (in flat cap) was sat next to us yesterday, and he was a really nice lad. Made time to talk to my dad and even laughed at his **** jokes. Was nowt but nice and when the third goal went in he ended up in a frantic group hug with me my brother and my dad. All very surreal. So I'll never forget that when Hammill scored one of my favourite goals ever. I celebrated it like a madman by violently lifting and hugging my nearest and dearest...And Brian Howard. Tried to impress him by being all cool and manly and not asking for a picture with him. I regret it tremendously.
aww i bet brian would have loved the idea of a piccy as well. i always rated him and its good to hear he still likes to enjoy a barnsley win.
He popped up on my aisle. I said oreyt Brian and let him crack on. Take it you were block 227? Unless he was just buzzing from aisle to aisle, hoping to be spotted..
He was with The London Tykes. Traveled up with a group from Southampton, and sat in Block 230 just behind me. Came to the pub afterwards to celebrate.
you learn summat new every day, and i didnt know that either lol. another thumbs up then to brian if he was part of the brownhill loan deal.
We saw him at The Green Man. First comment was "Who's that bloke in the daft tight jeans"? (honestly didn't recognise him) . Funny thing was last time I saw him he was in some strange white linen trousers and flip flops. If you're a mate, you need to have a word ..... Saw Bobby Hassell too. Just befor HT in the concourse. Looked genuinely glum with the score at 1-0.
Saw him too. Was sat a few rows down from us. Nice pic I took of his back though. He just turned his head the other way as I hit the shot. Stalkersrus
Yup. Just to my right. Can't see him anywhere in that photo that nez posted though, back turned or not!
We saw Adie Moses after the game. Really nice bloke. All I dared to say to him was: God, you were great for us! He put his arm around me and my mate and I went on our way. Edit: He was tekking t'**** out of my Hristov 19 shirt, an' all.
My family who were sat down at the front said he was sat behind them. We were on row 15 but didn't see him.
