Today, you were pretty anonymous. You are such an important player for us and the fans love you. You have so much talent and you could be a Premiership player, but, and you know the buts,,,,,,, My grumble today is,, we need a player like you to take the game by the scruff of the neck and control it. We need someone to 'pull the strings' Leicester City was a team who was there for the taking today. But once again, you failed to turn up, or live up to your very true potential. You were pretty much anonymous and yet we are paying you to make a difference. We see you as a key player in our side. Nee'r mind, Brian, drown yer sorrows tonight, like we all will be doing, especially those of us who spent the £22 on a ticket to follow the Barnsley today when 7/8 of the people in Leicester paid only a tenner to follow their seemingly, 'very mediocre' team The next time everyone sings at Oakwell "One Brian Howard". etc, I won't be singing, because you have to be more consistent than that for me. Yes, I am mean with praise, ask my Year 3s! But, when they get the praise, they think they have achieved the equivalent of climbing Everest! I have higher standards - you have to be more consistent for me If you want to play in the Premier, you''ll have to put a bit more effort in and be more consistent, ( a lot more work in!) Hell, you have all the talent in the world! I'm posting this, I don't care what others think, because you have all the talent in the world, but when are you going to use those talents on a consistent basis to move our Club forward? The Club that pays you The Club that believes in you The fans who know you CAN make a difference! What a great Captain you could be, if only............... Totally agree, but then there were 8 other players who didn't turn up as well...for me Hassell and Austin were the only 2 who actually put any effort in at all today!
In my opinion not 100 percent fit but little cover. May be interesting to play Kyle Reid behind front 2 with 2 more defensive minded midfielders - Togwell & McCann? & dispense with wingers as Nads & Knight are better with through balls rather than crosses. What I've seen of Reid his distribution is excellent - could play in Nads & Knight nicely? Just an IDEA but we need a different pattern of play as an alternative.
