Howard is a good player, but I don't think he comes close to players like Arteta, Cahill, Osman & Pienaar.
He tries too hard. Looks to create chance with every touch rather than playing it simply when it's needed.
Maybe all this talk about him going to bigger and better pastures as had a downward effect on his ability. The team is in a bit of a turmoil at the moment, with all the transfer talk and the loanese going back or staying at the club. I'll be glad when January comes, then we will all know what's happening, personally Howard is a good player, dropping him will not improve our goal tally, he is more likely to score than anyone in the team.
