Midfield all over the place since Anderson went back, and doesn't help by playing McCann alongside him.
Agree he would benefit from a rest though, but who else do you play instead?. He's played the majority of games this season and will only help in the run-in.

    thats the point

Davey has left himself with no option because there is no one capable of replacing him as an attacking midfielder. Maybe Leon has been signed to fill that role.

He's looked jaded for a while now ever since he was rumoured to be off to the premiership! Hopefully the new boy Diego can take some pressure off - he looked better than average for the bit he was on the pitch Saturday. Davey should have played Togwell with him against Norwich.

    How do you know this?

I suspect that you are doing the very same thing he is!
    Pot calling Kettle etc.
Players are allowed to have a social life too, as long as they are not out the night before a match, I can see no problem.

    yes they are

but if i was out until past 2 on a wed i would feel rough as hell all day thursday, now i may be able to do my job feeling rough(though not if id been out until 2) in theory the player would be training on thursday well that would be a waste of time in this case. Totally throws a weeks preperation out of the window if you ask me.

Just to add i dont know if brian howard has been out all night mid week or not so im not judging. Just seems like a daft thing to do to me.

The best time for players to go out would be saturday night after a game when we dont have one until the saturday after.

Nobody is saying that they not allowed a social life, just that they are professional athletes who are well paid and should act accordingly

    RE: yes they are

Agreed, many of the players are fairl young..well in their 20's...but there is a time and place for drinking.

And I'd say drinking til 2 am on a Wednesday isn't the best of ideas

If Howard is out drinking, then I am 100% sure that Davey doesn't see a problem in it or it having an impact on his game. He's stated about the drinking culture loads of times.
