Mahoney who now has a waistline the size of Lincolnshire is still full of apologies for getting in the way of the goalbound shot at Rotherham about forty years ago. He blamed it on the new (at the time) Jennings Diet.
"Turning circle of a f.uckin' battleship" he now laughs.
Mick's moustache is now so long it hits people in the face as he sprints (in his words only) to the care home lavvy.
"But at least we knew where the net was in them days, put us two up front with these fancy dan nancy boys today and we'll show em a thing or two.... maybe unintentionally, blame it on the open-backed nighties."
LeeJay was said to be interested and has approached Uncle Ben for some loan paper thingies. Mount Vernons are also keen to see it through.
