Apparently doncaster would let him walk on a free. Shorely he would make a good addition to are squad.
His recent injury record MIGHT be an issue However, that record is certainly not as bad as the likes of McNulty or Vaz Te and it didn't stop Keith Hill signing them. I'd suggest it's certainly not beyond the realms of possibility.
Fat Seth from Dee Dar Radio said on Twittor this morning that it looks like he's signing for Burnley. Letting him walk to get him off wage bill.
Saw an article yesterday about Coppinger saying he expects to stay at Pikey FC as he's had no other offers as yet. Always rated him. Not so keen on Stock, but teaming back up with Eddie Howe seems to add weight to Dyson's post. I think.
He's made of glass. Coppinger didn't have a good season last year but to be fair none of their team did.
Asked a Donny supporting mate of mine about him when we were after him last year, an he said, he wouldn't be too fussed to see him leave now. Injuries have slowed him down big time, and he's a shadow of the player he was. He said it's a shame really because he's verging on legend status at Doncaster because of his past form, but is rarely back from injury long enough to recreate any of it. Now Coppinger on the other hand, i've always rated him, and my mates suprised they've managed to keep onto him as long as they have.
