Main points as I remember (if anyone else who was there feels Ive missed anything important or mis reported the facts please comment ):

Don Rowing held his hand up and admitted he had made a big mistake with regards the allocations for this match. The club have a policy to allow season ticket holders 2 away tickets per season ticket holder and based on previous big away games, (Newcastle and the Dee Dah games) this has worked ok.

Understandably he had to face some tough questioning from the members present. A more concise list of questions and answers will appear on the trust website in due time.

Don's message throughout was that although mistakes have been made we (the fans) need to work together with the club to continue to move forward.

If we progress to the next round and are drawn away it will be strictly 1 per season ticket holder.

Don Rowing gave his undertaking to work with the Supporters Trust to implement a priority system so this does not happen again. Part of this consultation will include looking at making any necessary queuing a more pleasant to fans. (for example by utilising the ponte end).

The Supporters Trust had advised the club that 1 ticket per season ticket holders would be more sensible but this was ignored.

Gordon Shepherd was not party to the decision on ticket allocations.

The club are hoping to get a big screen and a live feed from Anfield to show the game live subject to approval by the relevant organisations.

Other matters were discussed with Don and these will appear on the trust website in due course.

    Hmmmm....

... did we have the same perfomance when the tickets were made available for Hudders in the play off semi ?

I don't agree with everything he does, but at least Rowing had the balls to man up and take the abuse. Lessons have been learned the hard way. The important bit in your post was that we as fans should work TOGETHER to make things better in the future. Another idea would be to be able to ring up for tickets, but have a unique number printed on your season ticket booklet. Then when you ring up as a season ticket holder you just give them the number with your name and address etc. The number would be unique and so nobody would be able to ring up and try and get with your number (as it would say on the box office computer system that the number as already been used).

aye, fans need to help the club out

afterall we are the ones that have fecked up 2 rounds of the cup in a row arent we.

oh no, sorry it wasn't the fans fault in either round. not in this round and not in the 4th round when PC had to come to the rescue of another PR disaster.

    exactly...

... to me it smacks of lip service. I hope I'm wrong but after shambles throughout the years, the biggest being the allocation of season tickets for the ponte in the premier league season, I'm very very cynical.

    Not explicitly

But I think it was error of judgement based on previous big away games this season.

Could I just point out that...........a ST holder should be able to buy a ticket for themselves and

    a friend
Who wants to go to a match on their own !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

If I was going to Liverpool i would want my son to come with me.........if I can't get a ticket for him then I dont want one either

NOT EVERYBODY IS WANTING THIS ONE ST THEN ONLY ALLOWED ONE TICKET PALAVA

What we actually want is more foooking tickets allocated !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

You state that the Supporters Trust advised the club

in advance that one season ticket should equal one match ticket and Mr Rowling ignored this ?

Advice from a supporters organisation who's members have a wealth of experience of supporting the club and obtaining tickets ?

    The mind boggles !!!!
