what stupid remark this is not about what club its about the FA not able to organize stuff properly, the fixtures list could easily be scrutinized to help the fans minimize their travel at this time of year. It is a 4+ hour journey from Cardiff to Brighton and visa versa... so to arrive in good time to park and get refreshment and allow for the odd travel problem its a 6 hour job... that means setting off at around 2pm.... the powers that be knew the weather reports and they could have made that decision in good time to prevent many travelling. It has happened countless times when they have badly planned the fixture list and not had the balls to make a decision early on the day. I concur that Cardiff have some obnoxious fans but then so do all clubs .... and YES that's BARNSLEY too.
Re: what stupid remark Completely agree I don't like SWFC But no fans deserve to lose out on money . It's expensive enough Let's not forget the only fans that will be compensated will but the official coaches Think about the fans travelling in cars and trains Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Heart proper bleeding here... DT must have been out of town that Saturday they were here to play us, but decided to have rematch with Leeds, who had the day off and smashed up half of Barnsley, scaring families and forcing shops to shut. Coppers locking Reds fans in a pub to keep them out of it, poor lads had to set fire to back of pub to get out... We drew 2-2, Morgan twice for us, Earnshaw at least one for them...
I remember that vividly. Town centre was a war zone. Hate the scummers and hate them after the way they behaved at Wembley. Apart from Leeds, they definitely rival Sheff United for the most ****ish fans in the country.
Earlier that season we did exactly the same thing at their ground and city centre ( 2003 I believe ) So do all our fans need to be tied with the same brush ? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
I don't think Barnsley fans pre-arranged round 2 of a scrap with another local club from the week before. On neutral ground because they happened to be in town. Cardiff will have it out with any English club and I can't see BFC's travelling support from back then or now, being much of a threat on their turf. But then, I wasn't there... I actually like the Welsh, but apologies for not being able to join the Cardiff City love in... Or have any sympathy that they've been fogged off.
We won three two. There were **** all Leeds knocking about. Must have been the same ghosts who travelled down to Cardiff in 03.
DT was not out of town I was at the game. My point was about travelling fans..... ALL travelling fans. It happens all too often that they cannot make a decision early enough to save fans wasting a journey. Its happened to us too and not funny. As for the behaviour or demeanor of fans well that's a totally different point. So stop twisting arguments around to meet your own agenda.
