    It's great ... Build some fantastic facilities in Sheffield (EIS), but you can't hire them cos jess ennis is training... Does she need the whole indoor arena? No. Even she is happy to share it ..... But they're not allowed to book the rest of it out....
    One facility, one person. Great use of resources.

    What have they built in Sheffield ? We've got an Olympic pool some of them are using to train in next year

    Great, that'll be my council tax bill up again. I might sublet my flat for the fortnight to make up for it. Smashing spacious self contained studio in Highgate 3 minutes to tube 15 minutes to Kings cross link and 10 minutes to hampstead heath if you want to chill out and pretend it isn't effing happening! I'm gripped by olympic fever as you can tell....

    English institute of sport ... Indoor track, Basketball arena, table tennis, Judo, boxing, snooker, etc etc..n... Been open for years, great facility. We've used it for years, but hard to get now, for aforementioned reasons.
    Very frustrating.

    Sounds brill - our pool is part of a sports park with athletics track, tennis centre and gym facilities. But it should be for all and not the elite.
    Is the don valley stadium still used for athletics meetings?

    Yes it is, but it's expensive to book.
    Eis is pretty much next door to Don Valley.
