So the grandad is given the wrong 6 year old and doesn't realise! And what must the childh have thought was happening!? And presumably the other child had an illness necessitating the trip to the doctors, so what did the wrong girl say was wrong with her when the doctor asked? "Erm, I don't recognise my family members anymore"

That is some pretty impressive stupidity and incompetence from all concerned isn't it.

The school's incompetence in handing over the wrong kid. The grandparents stupidity in not noticing that he'd picked a stranger up from school was having a conversation with the stranger on the bus and had completely the wrong kid with him for an hour or too and, I think most dangerously is a doctor who has prescribed medication for someone not showing any symptoms of illness, because they weren't ill.
