saved us from almost certain relegation 89/90 within an inch of the playoffs 90/91 went down hill after that close season !
aye i will give him that,he had a decent start but when he had the chance to add some real quality to an already decent squad with the tiler/aggie money he chose quantity over quality filling the squad with average players and at times his teams were awful to watch.
