Does anyone know of a reason why a broadband connection would go "stale" ie the only way to re-activate is to reboot the rooter? Is it the actual connection or the router that is causing the fault?
Router I would have thought If it was the line, rebooting the router wouldnt fix it - rebooting the exchange might though
you should check for.... an update of the firmware-had exactly the same problem with a BT voyager-updating did the trick

RE: you should check for.... Check your little switch thingy that plugs into the box on the wall. I did it made a massive difference.
