Broken toe

    Any telltale signs? Apart from the horrible ******* pain? Crocked the big toe playing footie earlier, now waiting at home for wifey to drive me to hospital. Boo who'd be me.

    Lots of pain, doesn't go away. No other sighns really, hospital can't do much for you either other than to confirm its broken. It will heal up on its own and you'll be back playing footy in 3 weeks or so. I was anyway.

    Broke mine a few years ago playing 5-a-side ....

    ... went to A&E and as it was pointing at a funny angle the doctor said he needed to 'straighten' it.

    He warned me that it could be quite painful so gave me 10 deep breaths of Gas & Air until I was high as a kite and then he pulled it back into position.

    He was right, it was painful - I almost hit the ceiling.. !!

    I'm sure you'll be fine though ....
