think thats what is driving the team on , great team spirit , and knowing when we win final that they will all get a chance to sign for us

You've probably at least 4m in signing them all, including wages. With 5m in extra revenue, in reality we can't afford them all even if we went up.

And that means not signing another player or 2 either.

I think we'll get Fletcher and Isgrove back on loan if we go up. No reason why we can't realistically sign Hammill and Brownhill as a championship side.

If we get the chance to sign Fletcher we should pay whatever they are asking. Same as Leicester did with drinkwater. Guaranteed profit.

I get that, but how much do you think we'll have to pay Hammill?

How much do you think Brownhill would cost? I'd imagine it'd be circa £750k, just signed a new contract etc.

The other 2 loanees will get offers from bigger clubs imho. Not to say we haven't built up a connection to them either, so you never know.

I just wanna be a realist that the 5m extra will be *****ed quite quickly, on higher wages for one of the current staff (They'll all be on bonuses and extra wages for Championship). We'll be trying to tie Winnall down to a longer contract.

Not being a pessimist cos I think we are on the verge of doing summat major for our club and not just this year, longer term.

I imagine it would be our front six tbh. I can't imagine Hourihane will be in league 1 next year.

Even with our front 6 all signed up, including loans It'd cost about 5m I reckon to keep them all. And thats means we go with what we've got without any additions and hoping that no other club tries to get Fletcher and Isgrove, Brownhill on loan from more established clubs.

I just think that we are top notch for our league at the moment, that we'll get cherry picked, and thats gutting if it happens, because this town, these fans, the Ora Stand, The West Stand, The East Stand, The Pukka Pie Stand, The Pontefract Road End stand are all united, all twelve of them (I should be in marketing). Oh we've used that strapmline before!

Being in town on Saturday reminded me of what it used to be like. Epic.

I think if we go up we've got a great chance of keeping them all. You can tell there's a great team spirit. The loanees feel like our own players.

Fletcher summed it up in an interview the other week when he said when asked about next season, 'I'd like to be playing for Barnsley in the championship if I'm not a part of the plans at Man Utd'.

I'm pretty sure Isgrove would be the same & I think there's a great chance of us getting Brownhill as I can't imagine he's happy at been moved on for Ben Pearson.

I'm confident Hammill stays as well if we go up.

If we don't then I imagine all of them go & we'll get offers for Hourihane & Winnall & possibly the centre backs too.

It's a scary thought but I honestly feel if we don't go up the only first teamers left could be Davies, Bree, Williams, Roberts, Scowen & Watkins.

Hopefully we win & keep them all

Not sure re: Hammill. I know we can't compete with a lot of championship clubs so if we can offer him an average championship wage (still a phenomenal wage to most fans) I hope we can persuade him that we're the best club for him. I think wages will play a part but maybe we can offer him something other clubs can't. Maybe I'm just living in dream land.

and hammill and mawson will probably be off to brizzle.

I think we can do it though and really hae a good crack next season.

If Stones is sold id deffo buy fletch and izzy.

Toney... still dont think hes anywhere near league one level.

Brownhill ok but a tad lazy sometimes. Hate to criticise but wish he would have a bit more energy. Great time to score though btw Josh. Been a bit up and down this season but hes young. So yeh id take a punt on hime also.

    You rickin reds....

Brownhills touch first half cost us a clear goalscoring opportunity.

I think Brownhill has not signed his contract offer from Preston. His fee would be decided by tribunal. Still likely to be around £750k though.

The best thing about hecky is that he sets the team up. Play to our strengths. Not setting up just to counter the opposition.

And that's how it should be.

We would be nowhere near where we are if we tinkered different formations every week.

    Hecky is our king

I agree. People saying Winnall will be off there too. Id imagine thats the last place he would ever go, Johnson almost ruined the lad playing him left wing, centre mid and even dropping him alltogether. His confidence at one point was rock bottom, purely because of LJ.

Tribunals tend to set relatively low buying prices. I reckon it would be around £250-£300,000 if it went to tribunal.
