Nay mind. Jak McCourt could get more of a chance now. He's already my favourite player even though he's barely played. His temperament fits perfectly with what we've built at the club. I just home has as good as he appears on first viewing. Sent from my SM-G900F using Tapatalk
We should consider the possibility that we didn't want to sign him permanently. I'm guessing we have other plans for central midfield, where we will require experience of the Championship.
Shame. He came on loads with us. We've still plenty of options in the middle though. Good luck to the lad.
Hmmm, not sure I agree with some of the bitterness on here. Besides, Moncur would probably be a better signing. I completely understand why you are annoyed at LJ with the Mawson, Hammill and Tommy Wright links, but to be fair Brownhill was never your player. That's the risk with loans unfortunately. Personally thought he'd stay with you for game time but clearly Bristol have offered a better financial package than both Barnsley and PNE.
Why are we being so negative about a player who gave his all for six months, helped us secure two victories at Wembley, but ultimately was never our player and has probably accepted what he sees as the best financial and football package on offer? All this 'why would you sign for LJ' rubbish when nobody knows the relationship he had with him. And as much as we all love Barnsley Football Club, Josh's only loyalty to us has been the last six months. Many people not as closely linked to BFC as us would see Brizzle as a bigger club with greater potential.
