browser weirdness.... help

Some of the websites on my favorites list dont work anymore.. i keep getting a strange search site. any ideas?

 

Dunno ... but same problem here. Must be some virus

 

SOunds like spyware or some such.

Try googling for the remedy

this is just about the only site i can get to

 

go to tucows.com and download and install sybot and adaware

run them to remove spyware and you shoudl be sorted.

 

tucows dont work either

Download and install that. That should cure your problems

i have avg, adaware, a squared, run them all to no avail

which isp are you using

mines wannado/orange or whatever it is. i thought maybe it was them

 

Im on Wanadoo/Orange and don't have any probs

Sounds like your Browser has been Hijacked.

Have you tried

looking in Add/remove Programmes to see if owt naughty is in there? Also, have you tried scanning with AVG whilst in safe mode?
