Only three things wrong with that.

    1. Very
    2. Good
    3. Finisher. The 'r' at the end should be a 'd'.

He wouldn't be a bad signing on a one year contract, would add experience to the young strike force.

And would he improve the squad? - Yes....

Sorry I'm not a believer of ANYBODY coming back once they've gone

..with the possible exception of Chopra. But he was on loan.

RE: Sorry I'm not a believer of ANYBODY coming back once they've gone

Agree to a certain level. Although it does work out - Robbie Fowler for example.

I think you've got to look at the reason why they left the first time.

Dyer left, cos we couldn't afford to give him a new contract. £1000 a goal bonus cost us a fair whack over the years.

But he left in a good manner, claimed he would have been happy to stay, and had been top scorer for the last two seasons. So it would be worth a punt.

    Brooce was a chuffin hero

Wembley wouldn't have happened without him and you can't grumble about his scoring record. He would be a legend if it wasn't for one thing - and we all know what that is.

come come mate, what goes around comes around. Nine years ago we were where you are now, in 2000 you were nailed on to go down, we went to Wembley. It's taken you six years to turn around things off the field and on the field. A little more humility may be in order. After all don't forget you're not a 'big club' like washday !!![IMG]

Don't become hated like they are !!!!

not a big club like washday come come.

    Lets compare :

Pancake Tuesday 19th Championship.....Blades Premier League

Pancake 24 million in debt ...Blades 30 million generated this year.

Pancake last 2 years in Div 1....Blades challenging for promotion to Premier league last 4 years

Pancake knocked out of all cups including LDS early doors last 5 years ....Blades 4 semi-final appearances in recent years plus 5 wins against premier opposition.

Pancake 7 managers in last 6 years including such luminaries as Chris Turner (Messiah !)and err..Blades Neil Warnock

Pancake attendance (yawn) 24, 700...Blades 23,670 not much in it given that there MASSIVE and lets see next year

Pancake one league cup win in 70 years ...Blades zilch

Blades beat Pancake so often it's boring including double last season.

Have you seen our Academy set up ? Pancake selling their training ground off.

The futures bright the futures Red and White

not really Dave I recognised your irony. Wednesday are largely irrelevant as far as I'm concerned always have been and always will be. Only bothered when they play United. Their fans however do seem to be of a particular ilk ie. sterotypically obese and ignorant. Since I've lived in the grand metropolis of Barnsley I've met loads of them. Not worth a w***.
