Since he left Oakwell I don't think we've had a striker that was half as good as he was in terms of goals. Scary thought. Dyer was a top bloke and always liked him despite his strong offside tendencies. Now if we'd just been able to keep Dyer, Ward and Hignett together for longer than that one game against Huddersfield...
