    Springsteen at the Ricoh Arena 20th june..cant wait, hope its feckin better weather than last years concert at the Stadium of Light on 21st june.Itwas midsummers day and bloody freezing.

    I tried to go and see Bruce Springsteen once years ago, at Bramall Lane of all places. I'd just moved down to London. Mate I was going with thought it would be a good idea to post my ticket to me during a postal strike.

    If anyone could make a positive out of such a tragi-comedy life moment, it would be the Boss.

    As a teenager in the 70's when the reds were away, me and my mates would sometimes go to watch Sheff Utd on the dearneways bus from wath...we were there when Tony Currie scored that goal against West Ham....some things you have to say are class.

    My Dad used to take me there, usually after being poorly. He didn't have a car at the time, had to get two buses, took ages. Great memories.... :)
