Saw him in Sunderland last night - Awesome. 3 hours 20 mins ( 30 songs ) of pure talent from him and the e street band. Manchester is in for a treat. If you get the chance just go!!!!
i'll not bother...there will be plenty of shouting in tarn Sunday neet watching england........... without paying god knows what to listen to Noddy/Bruce!! hth
Not my cup of tea the Stadium gigs .... the only stadium gig I have been to is Radiohead @ LCC Old Trafford, as I "HAD" to see them ... turned out ok, nice sunny day and reasonable support from Bat for Lashes/MGMT ..... I did manage get to the front when RH came on, but it was a hard slog, as the crowd were not regular moshy gig goers, and considered the space they were stood in, was there own personal space, that noone shall pass through .... Would have had a different experience if it had lashed it down for the 4 hours mind .......
A top tip ...... Don't go and see My Bloody Valentine the night before a Radiohead gig - even though I was a the front, a had to lip read Thom Yorke
Sunderland was brilliant but Manchester was fecking awesome, but never been as wet in my life, the Asda opposite Eastlands must have made a fortune with people buying fresh clothinng after getting piss wet through, never stopped raining all day until about 5 mins before the Boss took to the stage......
total top nite : Bruce was on top form: never seem him and the band so happy and together on stage.I think the 10-45 curfew gutted him cos he looked like he was there till midnight.Funny as F - when the trumpet player fell off the stage. He changed the set as the show ran continually shout out the next song he was to play to to the band : he is THE BOSS
absolutely awesome as ever at manchester last night think everyone in the stadium was up dancing and singing especially when he did "waiting for a sunny day" only gripe was the bus service from the stadium to train station after gig didn't get to station till 12.30pm almost missed train. thank **** i was still high from gig otherwise i'd have been really mad.
absolutely. don't know where the guy gets his energy he was on stage by my reckoning 3 hours and 20 mins and would probably have done more if he'd been allowed, puts a lot of these so called top bands to shame
It was just one long party, i wanted to go see him in Dublin but I'm at the Manchester furniture show at the same time! Gutted!
ed to laugh at one a't mates, he wa rockin n singin n cheerin all neet n when we were comin art he said i,m really dissapointed cos he dint sing born in the usa or streets of philadelphia lol
Brilliant night with our lass in Manchester ! only just home and wallet several pounds lighter after a trip to Tiffany's ! Brilliant concert - I though the crowd were a little slow to star with but soon got into it. Was very emotional watching Clarence tribute. Fantastic in all - I understand about the travel frustration - luckily we stayed in Manc and walked past all the buses ! ! I have posted a few pics to FB, was gonna post vids too but most have got my singing on and **** me am I appalling ! Link below to the NYC Clarence tribute - if you know the song, watch it - if you don't just forward to 2 mins 7 seconds and watch a minute or so of tribute to a great showman. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HlT4dxOH5kU
brilliant as ever new album is growing on me too and the tracks he played off it fitted in really well
The show in Sunderland was awsome. 62 years old and barely a pause for breath (him not me!). Saw Tom Petty in Dublin 3 weeks ago (first tour in Europe for 21 years) and that was f**kin brilliant. Both are appearing at the Isle of Wight but I believe it may be a little wet and uncomfortable!
