Wanted to see if Yoganthan was playing, but couldn't find anything - apparently he's pledged himself to the Wales national team? Is this true? Can't remember seeing anything about it!
Also, Styles played in Hungary's 3-0 win over Israel, though he came off after 41 minutes due to injury. I hope it's not too bad because I really want him to have a great Euros & we get a decent fee for him. Didn't watch the match but he apparently played well, having a rating of 7.6.
Yeah that's going to be interesting seeing Styles' games with Hungary, and they are in the Scotch/German group aren't they.
Yes bud, Germany , Scotland & Switzerland - the Scots will do well to qualify, but I think they've got a decent chance of it, though I'd say they're definitely the worst team on paper there
A few years ago, even Schweisse (the Swiss) were doing well, and they put France out in the previous Euros. Germany are going to feel the pressure as the hosts, and they have been struggling. Styles and Hungary might surprise a few teams this time, maybe.
https://m.skybet.com/football/euro-2024-requestabets/euro-2024-requestabets/33330478 Euro Countdown boost 20/1 for a goal in every game of the competition, don't miss out
Yes Germany have been struggling for a good while now, having a look at their team, it's no where near the Germany of old mate . Some very good players still , but nowhere near the amount of before. I like nagelsmann as a manager, but not sure he's a great coach for international football. But with it being in their own back yard, you never know !
That was said when we beat them at Wembley in the previous Euros, and when we beat them in Euro '00. Yeah they might have been a poorer German team, at that time etc. But you have to admire them, they are still always a team to beat, when it comes to tournaments.
Played for Wales U19's earlier this year apparently. Bit in chronicle. Can't remember seeing the club mention anything about it.
International career[edit] Yoganathan is of Sri Lankan Tamil descent born in Trelawnyd. North Wales. As a schoolboy, Yoganathan was called up for Wales at the youth level to participate in training camps.[6][7] On 22 March 2024, he made his debut for Wales under-19s as a substitute against Belgium.[10]
According to Flash Scores, he didn't play for Sri Lanka tonight. He's a player I'm hoping Hourihane's influence will rub off on. I've high hopes for young Vimal from the admittedly little I've seen of him.
