Robson met club chairman Terry Robinson and plc chairman Kevin McCabe in Brussels on Wednesday but details of the outcome have not been disclosed. </p> Both chairmen told BBC Radio Sheffield the talks had been constructive and there would be "reasoned changes to the football infrastructure". </p> The club has said it hopes to make an announcement before the weekend. </p> </p><div class="avinline">Interview: Sheffield Utd boss Bryan Robson </div> </p> The talks were arranged after fans protested against Robson's tenure after Saturday's draw with Scnuthorpe. </p> Robson, who admits he could be running out of time in the job, said the fans' reaction had not helped the team in the goalless draw. </p> "They were on my back and the players' backs very early on in the game," said the former Middlesbrough boss. </p> "If we'd had better support from them I feel we could have gone on to win." </p> Robson, 50, took charge at Bramall Lane in May, nine days after the Blades' dramatic relegation from the Premier League on the last day of the season. </p> But despite their pre-season aim of returning to the top flight, United lie 17th in the table, and top scorer James Beattie has only just returned to action after a long lay-off because of a knee ligament injury. </p></font></td></tr></tbody></table>
You have to feel sorry for Robson Poor sod he's doing his best and at least honest with his comments. I would be legging it if I had the same provocation he's has threats of violence and constant abuse week after week. Best thing he can do is to stick it out and get bloody McCabe to fork out a couple of million compensation. this is the same McCabe that said we should have realised Warnock was not up to the job.
