BT Broadband - anyone know whether prices quoted on website are inclusive of VAT, or is this extra?

    We've got BT

I suppose it's not the cheapest but never had any reason to call them crap.

never had any real problems whatsoever with the broadband.

    Same here

I've had it since getting online in the summer of 2002. In all that time, I've only had 1 problem which the helpline people managed to get to the bottom of for me pretty quickly.

There's also been maybe 3 or 4 times when there's been a problem with their servers but, in 4 & a half years, I'd say I've had far fewer problems with BT than those that I know that have gone for a cheaper option.

    I was with BT

The broadband service was appalling and expensive

Switched to pipex who were cheaper but not better

Now on Telewest (now Virgin) had a bit of bother for a week last year but has been largely fast and reliable ever since..and cheap!!

I considered Zen Internet who have performed very highly in a Which? survey of broadband providers. 77% of users were very satisfied overall out of 13,313 people asked, followed by Global and Waitrose with a 72% satisfaction rate. Only drawback with Zen is the £47 connection fee and then £17.99 a month.

I'm with BT - Get good coverage but expense is a problem...

I currently pay 60 per month with my phone included which I don't use at all.

Which means I'll be 400 in credit by the time my bill comes in a few weeks.

It'd better get here before I **** off to Oz on the 24th Feb!!
