I cancelled my Sky Sports/BT subscription due to Virgin Medias insistence on uplifting my
monthly payments every year. I have my broadband, TV and landline with them and they
were charging me circa £89 per month. Managed to get it down to £72 pcm now.

My son who pays for Sky and BT very kindly put both on my iPad using his payment reference
code. Hitherto, Ive restricted my viewing to watching the Reds when they have been on Sky and
the odd Premiership fixture that has taken my fancy.

As there's not much that interests me on terrestrial TV tonight, I've managed to cast the Champions
League tie between Leipzig and Liverpool to my Sony Bravia TV . Have to say, the team of presenters
re- Gary Lineker, Michael Owen, Peter Crouch and Rio Ferdinand are impressive and the sound and
picture quality are fantastic. Hopefully looking forward to an open and entertaining game.
