Bucket collection for Rotherham

Following discussions between Gordon Shepherd, chairman of Barnsley FC, and Alan Bloore, chairman of the Supporters Trust, there will be a bucket collection for Rotherham United at the Colchester game. In addition a bucket will be available in the Trust Office for the Port Vale game if anyone wishes to make a donation. If you can help with the collections please contact the Supporters Trust Office or email Alan. Rotherham are the latest club to announce financial problems and need to raise 1 million pounds in the next few weeks.

Barnsley FC are also helping Rotherham, donating £5,000 as well as cancelling all monies owed to Barnsley in relation to Barry Conlans loan spell at Millmoor this year, in addition to supporting the bucket collection at Oakwell.

The Supporters Trust would like to wish the Millers all the best in their money raising.
