Did you hear his interview where he tried to sign Stephen Dobbie from Swansea? Said we were blown out of the water.

If you remember he's tried to sign players like Jason Pearce, Mark Beevers etc already but been knocked back - I don't think that he wants to sign laikers with half a kidney and colour blind, but he has to.

Allegedly - and I stress the word allegedly - Jason Pearce is on 20k per week at Portsmouth. Probably worth 1/4 that at most.

Re: Budget will NOT BE INCREASED EITHER!!!...........exactly

............which means we will get a decent squad together which will set off like a train but because the squad is small with only a sprinkling of quality players the results will fade towards the end of the season and at this time next year we will be wishing, like all the other recent seasons, that the end of season cannot come quick enough

We are going nowhere unless we get a new owner

I think it will be reduced. Significantly lower crowds which the club states is the biggest source of club generated income. And a lower? League position so lower league prize money/share maybe?

Also if the board have more than a single brain cell between them then the cost of changing manager wont just come out of one years budget it will have been factored in to the duration of hills budget. Plus the fact managers generally have a bigger budget in the first season to pay for changing the squad to suit them.

And no million quid for shackell this time either with keith doing his best to reduce what we'll get for butterfield and the don representing us at a tribunal we'll get 25p

Re: Budget will NOT BE INCREASED EITHER!!!

He was talking down how much we'd get for Buttercup, when even though we won't get as much as we want for him you don't just go around saying it so a club that wants him can say at a tribunal "well even their own manager doesn't expect much for him".
