    what did he hit? looked to me as if he hit some kind of ramp, flew nose first into the concrete wall with it being a road circuit, then just went sideways down the track and into the wall

    if all he had was a broken leg after a smash like that.
    I was woried he might even be dead when the car first came to rest

    well was Senna's crash really worse than that?

    just shows how far the safety measures in F1 have come

    No it wasnt

    Macabre thought is that the safety measures may have been introduced due to the deaths of Senna and Ratzenburger.

    Senna would certainly have survived the crash in todays cars

    Kubica - update no broken leg

    According to the team the broken leg story isnt correct and he is fine no serious injuries at all
