Sneaky feeling if we add the centre half and another quality striker we may see the best season ticket sales for many a year!

Last 2 years ive oo'd and rr'd about getting one. This year now we have flicker and everything to look forward to its a no brainer.

Canne wait till pre season now.

Well done to all concerned at BFC for making sure it happened.

Its our turn now - get down the well and get a season ticket for 14 quid a game!!!

    U reds!

As much as I'd love us to have 12,000+ season ticket holders again, I think unfortunately a lot of those who have got out of the habit of going are unlikely to come back any time soon.

I know a few people who follow us intently but haven't attended regularly for years, when I suggest that they start going again the general reaction is akin to p*ssing on their feet - it's strange.

I know others who's circumstances have changed in that they now have kids and Saturday is a family day - including a trip to Oakwell in that family trip would just be two expensive for them to do regularly.

The club need some real investment in marketing, target the "never beens" rather than the "used to go's":

    - Get an outside firm with a good track record to do the work, not the current employees (no disrespect to them, they've done a good job but it needs taking to another level). It will be expensive but you get what you pay for.
    - Let students and U16's in for next to nothing, like a fiver or something. Don't just trial these prices at unappealing games, stick to it, these folk will eventually get the bug that we've all got and will part with the full ticket price when they are older and working. It's not like there aren't enough empty seats, although the club could maybe just make a few thousand of these tickets available - this would encourage purchase in advance and quicker purchase as people will not want to risk them selling out. I say limit them as you wouldn't want sales from games that are highly attended anyway to be watered down by 10,000 students suddenly deciding they want to go to a South Yorkshire derby for a fiver.
