Cryne openly says we would more likely find the money for box office players.... thing is, everyone so far is on free transfers are they not. So its only a wage thing that shepherd is controlling etc via budgets. Am I missing something here. I presumed that "money is more likely to be found" ie if a transfer/compensation etc package would be needed. Anyone else think this?
When you say everyone so far, we haven't actually signed anyone, in fact we have lost one and are likely to lose another two, Austin and Shuker. We probably therefore might need a number of new players. For instance we only have one keeper, no-one has replaced Scarsella even if Colgan signs. We never replaced Burns and need to replace McPhail and Carbon too. Until all this is resolved it will be difficult to know how much is available for fees and so if we can get in decent players who have manoeuvered the end of their contracts (like Shuker did) then fair enough. Even so, I can't see us paying more than 250k at the absolute max for anyone, box-office or not.
RE: When you say everyone so far, we haven't actually signed he is saying flinders is the only keeper as colgan is yet to sign
