Just missed out on Ibrahimavic last night, it's been his lifelong dream to play for the mighty Owls, they're still hoping a loan deal can be sorted however some of their fans are disillusioned by this as a club of their stature should be signing players at their peak.

What a bunch of numpites. Never heard of him... well as unlikely as that sounds fair enough. But automatically he's not going to play, isn't worth the money... a nobody in their eyes. When was the last time their academy produced anything decent? Only Beevers and Spurr and I dont see the big clubs wading in with offers for those starlets. And of course they end it with mentioning our crowds and lack of pulling power to use the money with. Deluded, paranoid, constantly depserate to re-assure themselves they are massive, we're smaller, they have big crowds, we dont, they produce wonderful players, we dont... etc etc etc. For a supposedly down-to-earth city, the delusion surrounding the two football clubs is staggering.

I was once goaded by a wednesday supporter about how we've no history here at the well and how much they've got at hillsborough.I remember them winning the 'Rumbelows' cup but after that i couldnt remember them winning owt,so i had a look on wiki and they last won the fa cup 20 odd years after we did and their last league championship was around the same time.

 

1 trophy 70 odd years.....

 

I've been on and had another two penneth earlier. It's great fun.
