Burnley fans singing German bombers song. Hannover fans fit pissed off and went for them. Don't blame Hannover fans one bit.
I went to burnley v bfc (4-2) , not a happy home crowd . But on the plus side maybe that is why Jimmy A is a bowling god ..
Only hear say but sounds like a few Hannover fans went prepared, weapons found and even gum shields on some. All very strange for a friendly in Burnley.
I went to the test match in Manchester yesterday with 20 mates after we headed into Manchester to a few pubs. We walked into one pub cant remember the name of it and they were all in there having a drink must of been 100 of them. We felt like a fish out of water getting dirty looks from all angles of the pub so we decided to drink up quickly and leave. One of our lads got chatting to one of there ultras at the bar who said they'd come here to cause trouble it's ironic that I looked today and the game was abandoned. As my mate was coming to the end of his drink one lad walked up to him and basically told him to stop talking to his mate and F*** off. Later that night around 9 we were in a taxi going to Piccadilly station and they were marching up the road in central Manchester chanting and shouting songs looking to intimidate. I wouldn't be surprised if there's further trouble tonight wherever they are.

Considering the fairly low attendance, why on earth were Burnley fans in the same stand as the Hannover fans. Even our friendly with Huddersfield last week the home and away fans were in separate stands rather than being segregated. Do that and at least the risk of people getting hurt inside the stadium is minimised.
Seen various comments across social media suggesting Burnley fans were at fault for singing the German Bombers song. Turns out that was sang after the trouble started. How fans bringing gum shields, knives and chucking seats across a stand cannot be blamed is beyond me. The fact that they were out and about Manchester last night and have apparently been chucked out of a pub again today for misbehaving suggetss the police have taken a very soft approach in comparison to usual. Taking weapons to a match and not being arrested? Wow.
Arrest em , fine em loads , we need the money ! So sorry we are English , let em go . Why do we bother . Fxxk nose !
90% of stadiums in Germany house the Ultras away from each other, maybe Burnley should've followed suit and closed off the rest of the stand. Hannover 96 have released a statement condemning the violence, but no doubt they'll receive a ban, in the same manner of Feyenoord.
They haven't "let them go" - There's plenty of video evidence for them to go through over the coming weeks to prosecute/ban those involved. One of my friends had a day in court after he was involved in a pyro show at RW Essen, in the regional leagues, although he doesn't support them he went along for one game. His punishment was a five year ban from RW Essen home games, which considering he supports Fortuna Düsseldorf, was the best he could hope for. Bizarre.
