How does that work with this whole transfer window thing?

If we lost him I think we'd really struggle. Don't think we've got anyone else in the squad that can do his job.

It's a strange one though. Poland in February? No thank you.

    WTF

are we doing letting himgo for a Barsteward trial?!!

If they want him, they ought to buy him. Does it mean that he misses Saturday? What happens if he gets injured?

    My thoughts exactly

massive own goal Andy mate. get ready for repercussions.

course, Burns is the worst midfielder at the club.

Howard and Macca in the middle is a good combination in my view.

They were the partnership away at Bradford in the league when we drew 0-0 and that was an excellent performance.

I didn't know Polish teams sent Scouts to 3rd division clubs. Whats the connection anybody? Does he have any Polish blood in him?

would be a massive blow as we dont really have another midfielder in his mold. i understand now wanting to stand in his way thought. Ritchie did sign cover when he had the chance.
When is the loan deadline? we would have to get someone in by then

Not sure about that pair for the run in.

Burns doesn't tick - we don't tick. If we're getting shut then get some dosh in as promised by the chairman.

    *ring-ring* *ring-ring*

    Hello.

Hallo, my name is Vaulter, I am speaking to you from Poland. We would very much like to be taking your Jacob Burns for our football team.

Ah well, he's doing really well in our team at the moment and we'd really like to keep him. Particularly as we can't add to the side, what with the transfer window being closed.

Yes, but, we'd really like him to play for our team, it would make us very happy.

Errrrrr, go on then. Nothing's too much trouble for us. I hope he does really well and your team wins the league.

    Thank you very much.

    No bother at all.

How can he go in the transfer window?

And if he does go, we had better have a replacement lined up. We have nobody else that gets close to the job he does. This could be a very bad move for us.

BFC were after one Michael Thwaite

... a young centre half who decided to sign for Kracow to enhance his chances of getting into the World Cup squad.

He'd be a mate of Jacob, I'd say. You wouldn't bet on BFC losing two players to Kracow.

Jacob, lad, Poland? and a new baby and all..... and he's been settled in the Leeds area for years.
