    We were aweful apparently, defence was diabolical and players looked lost.</p>

    The defence was decidedly dodgy at rotherham and against wigan too. Championship strikers would have had a bagful at millmoor against us and anyone other than Heskey would have got a couple on Tuesday night

    Forget about today, the players were just having a kick about and according to my mate Davey was changing the team faster than the lone rangers silver bullet. But he as told me that we were an absolute shambles. Ah well like i have said in the past , don't get to confident with the new players, another long hard season ahead and finger nails will be down to the bone come next May. :D

    It was clear from the Wigan game we don't have a clue going forward...

    Defensively I think we'll be better, but going forward we look very weak.

    Tend to agree with that. It is going to take time for this new team to blend, Harts team was the same, everyone and their granddad predicted instant success. It never works out as smoothly as we think with new players, Davey as brought most of this squad with the help of overseas contacts . I doubt if he as seen half of the players he as brought in in a competetive match . So it's a gamble , and if out of the dozen or so players he has brought in , if only 3 or 4 make the grade then he as done well and we will look forward in the January sales to some loan signings to once again help keep us in this great league. (chinny)

    I agree but not worrying too much just yet. I think our defence will be a lot better this year and there will be healthy competiton for places. I think the forwards will need a bit of time to gel, it will all come together in the coming weeks.
